iTunes is not updating Coffee Break French in my podcast list / there is an exclamation mark beside the podcast name. What do I do?

There are sometimes problems with iTunes which are inexplicable! If you find an exclamation mark beside the podcast name this means that either there's a temporary problem with the CBF feed, or that your iTunes application has somehow lost the correct feed address. Our first suggestion would be to unsubscribe to the feed and then resubscribe. NB. Don't delete the feed: simply click the unsubscribe button towards the bottom of the iTunes podcast window. If this doesn't help you can control-click (Mac) or right-click (PC) on the name of the feed and select "show description". This will show you the information about the podcast along with a url pointing to the feed. For the basic (free) feed, this should read http://feeds.feedburner.com/coffeebreakfrench. For the premium feed, the url is given in the members only area of the board. You would also be required to enter your username and password at this stage. If nothing seems to work then there is a chance that there is a temporary problem with the feed. All we can ask is that you try again later. If the problem persists then don't hesitate to contact us.

iTunes won't give me access to a particular episode / download / pdf file, etc. What do I do?

Again, the best thing to try in this situation is unsubscribing and resubscribing to the feed. If there has been a problem with a particular item on the feed, eg. a podcast or a pdf guide with an incorrect addres, etc., we will post a "replacement version" in the feed. This means that the next time your copy of iTunes comes to the feed it will find the replacement version and download it. If, however, there has been a problem with one item and you can't seem to download it, unsubscribing and resubscribing should force iTunes into finding the correct file and updating your list.

I've accidentally deleted an item in iTunes. How can I find it again

Again, the key is unsubscribe and resubscribe. iTunes should find the missing item and offer it to you. Simply click on "get" and you should then be able to download it to iTunes.

I've subscribed to the Premium version but I can only see the "standard" version in my iTunes list. What do I do?

The "standard" (basic) and "premium" versions of the feed have different names. If you have Learn Spanish with Coffee Break French in your list of podcasts you're subscribed to the basic version. If you have Coffee Break French, Premium Edition in your feed then you're also subscribed to the premium version. The one step that is often missed by listeners is clicking the "expand" triangle in your list of iTunes podcasts. If you click on the triangle you should see the list of items within that particular podcast feed. In the case of the Premium edition you should be able to see all items, including enhanced podcasts, pdf guides (which feature a book icon) and any additional items.
